Germany: Bill for Mandatory Deployment of Reservists
The German government approved a bill on Wednesday that enables the compulsory conscription of reservists for training purposes. This is part of plans to strengthen troops and increase defense capabilities in light of a more aggressive Russia. Germany aims to double its reserve force to at least 200,000 by the middle of the next decade.
