Germany Waives Travel Permit Requirement for Young Men
The German Defense Ministry announced that young men can travel abroad without prior permission despite the new military service law. A blanket exemption permit is to be issued this week to avoid unnecessary bureaucracy, even though the law technically requires men aged 17 to 45 to obtain Bundeswehr permission.
