GESY Health System – Changes and Future Reforms in Focus
The Cypriot health system (GESY) will undergo multiple changes at the beginning of next year: a review of existing restrictions, new distribution mechanisms for specialization positions from 2027, and a revised evaluation system for general practitioners. The General Director of the Health Authority, Ifigenia Kammitsi, signals that no mechanism of the system is unchangeable and further reforms are open.
