Gesy System with Barcode Improves Data Protection
Cyprus's national health system Gesy has introduced new functionality that allows insured persons to collect prescriptions via digital barcode at pharmacies. The barcode is provided electronically via the online portal and can be displayed on mobile devices, eliminating the need to provide personal data. This solution, available since last month, strengthens patient privacy.
