GESY: Unified Fees for Specialists
Cyprus's health authority GESY is introducing a new payment system for medical specialists. Instead of two different fee rates, a uniform rate now applies to 22 medical specialties. The regulation was decided following negotiations with the Medical Association and also ends the previous 5-percent reduction in doctor fees.
