Global energy markets endangered by maritime chokepoints
Global energy markets are heavily dependent on a small number of maritime chokepoints, as over 90 percent of sea-borne oil flows through a few narrow corridors. According to the updated analysis by the US Energy Information Administration, global oil flows remain exposed to significant disruption risks.
