Goldman Sachs: Bond buybacks alone insufficient for declining US yields
According to Goldman Sachs, fighting inflation is the most effective way to lower U.S. Treasury bond yields, as Treasury Department buyback programs have only short-term effects. The investment bank views more comprehensive economic changes as necessary to permanently reduce bond yields.
