Government Approves Recruitment of 400 Non-Commissioned Officers
The Cypriot cabinet approved the hiring of 400 non-commissioned officers (NCOs) from the ranks of contract soldiers (Syop) of the National Guard. Defense Minister Vassilis Palmas stated that the appointment will follow ranking from a selection process with written examinations. The hirings are to take effect starting in November.
