Government Cancels Major Projects – Taxpayers Pay Millions
The Christodoulides government repeatedly abandons large public projects, causing substantial costs for taxpayers. The most prominent example is the LNG import project in Vassiliko, which was discontinued about two years ago after the Chinese consortium came into conflict with gas infrastructure company Etyfa.
