Government defends fuel prices as appropriate
Government officials explained in parliament that fuel prices in Cyprus are currently at an acceptable level. The head of the consumer protection service of the Ministry of Commerce emphasized that the price increases of recent months in Cyprus were below the EU average and that prices are competitive compared to other EU countries.
