Government Invests 168 Million Euros Against Water Shortage
Agriculture Minister Maria Panayiotou announced a 168-million-euro package to combat water scarcity, supplemented by 454 million euros in EU investments in the agricultural sector through the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP). Water scarcity, alongside climate change, is described as one of the greatest challenges for Cypriot agriculture.
