Greece allows British tourists without biometric screening
Greece has decided to exempt British nationals from the new biometric registration requirements of the European Entry/Exit System (EES) to reduce waiting times at airports. This measure comes against the backdrop of massive tourist numbers: approximately 4.89 million British visitors travelled to Greece in 2025.
