Greece and Cyprus warn of extreme heat
Greece and Cyprus are preparing for their first heat wave of the summer, with temperatures reaching up to 42°C in Greece and over 40°C in Cyprus. The Cypriot Meteorological Service has issued a yellow warning for extreme heat inland. The region is warning the population to take precautionary measures.
