Greece and Israel sign €3 billion air defense deal
Greece and Israel have signed a contract for a modern multi-layered air defense system worth approximately 3 billion euros. The system, known as "Achilles Shield," includes advanced short-, medium- and long-range missile systems and is part of a comprehensive military modernization program for Greece. Greece's security council had already approved the deal in early August.
