Greece and US National Guard Seal Defense Partnership
Greece and the United States have officially signed a new defense agreement under the U.S. State Partnership Program, linking Greek armed forces with the Florida National Guard. The agreement was formalized at a high-level meeting in Athens between Greece's Defense Minister Nikos Dendias and U.S. Ambassador Kimberly Guilfoyle.
