Greece-Cyprus-Israel power cable gains momentum
The Great Sea Interconnector project, a planned power line between Greece, Cyprus and Israel, is described by the German press as one of Europe's most ambitious energy projects. Greek grid operator IPTO has submitted an investment application for the second section between Cyprus and Israel, after French investment company Meridiam became involved with 66 percent stake in the cable route.
