Greece extends tenure of central bank governor
Greece proposes extending the term of central bank governor Yannis Stournaras, which would extend his overall time in this position to 12 years. The 70-year-old Stournaras, who also represents Greece on the European Central Bank's Governing Council, would become the first Greek central bank chief to serve three consecutive terms.
