Greece: First West Nile Virus Cases Reported for 2026
Greece has recorded its first West Nile virus case of the 2026 season. The affected patient is over 60 years old and developed brain inflammation, with symptom onset in late June. The infection source was identified in the municipality of Agia Paraskevi in Athens.
