Greece increases defense budget to 8.4 billion dollars
Greece increased its defense spending in 2025 by 5.6 percent to 8.4 billion dollars, reaching 3 percent of GDP and ranking 34th worldwide. The country continues to be among those with the highest defense spending in relation to its economy.
