Greece Opens First Museum Dedicated to 1821 Independence War
Greece is making significant progress in constructing the first national museum dedicated exclusively to the Greek Independence War of 1821. A donation agreement for up to 12 million euros was signed and will enable studies and restoration of the former military bakery complex in Athens.
