Greece Plans Drilling in Ionian Sea 2027
A consortium of Energean, ExxonMobil, and Helleniq Energy is accelerating planning for the first exploratory drilling in Block 2 of the Ionian Sea. The project is scheduled for the first quarter of 2027 and requires completion of critical procedural steps. The development was presented at the 7th Power & Gas Forum.
