Greece Plans Stricter Laws Against E-Scooters Following Accidents
Greece is responding to growing concerns about e-scooter accidents. A 13-year-old boy in Ilia died and a 40-year-old man in Heraklion was seriously injured. Citizen Protection Minister Michalis Chrysochoidis announced that e-scooters are "very dangerous" and indicated that legislative measures would be coming soon.
