Greece Strengthens Protection for Pristine Beaches
Greece has signed a new regulation strengthening protection measures for beaches with high environmental value, known as "Pristine Beaches" (Apatites Paralies). The measure imposes strict restrictions on human intervention and commercial use to preserve the natural character of these coastal areas. The regulation amends a previous joint ministerial decision and thus strengthens environmental protection.
