Greece's Cancer Deaths Could Rise to 40,000 by 2050
According to new projections from the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), cancer deaths in Greece could increase from approximately 32,000 in 2024 to nearly 40,000 in 2050 – an increase of almost 25 percent. Lung cancer remains the most common cause of cancer death.
