Greece's quietest islands: Times recommends lesser-known alternatives
While well-known Greek islands such as Rhodes, Kos, Santorini, and Mykonos experience mass tourism, the British Times reports there are many other inhabited islands with authentic atmosphere. Of approximately 6,000 Greek islands, only 227 are inhabited, and many of them are spared from heavy tourism.
