Greek AI researchers develop cardiac imaging software
Researchers at the Greek Archimedes AI Research Center have developed innovative software that uses artificial intelligence to assess right heart function using standard 2D echocardiograms. The system, developed by cardiologist Polydoros Kampaktsis and data scientist Archontis Giannakidis, is currently undergoing large-scale clinical trials at the Onassis Cardiac Surgery Center in Athens.
