Greek-American Diaspora Demands Tougher US Stance on Turkey
The Greek-American leadership organization HALC (Hellenic-American Leadership Council) launched a campaign to influence the US State Department regarding its stance on religious freedom in Turkey. The organization is calling on the United States to adopt the recommendations of the US Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) and confront the Turkish government with conditions during bilateral negotiations.
