Greek Food Products Meet EU Safety Standards
According to the Greek Ministry for Rural Development and Food, in March 2026, 97.7 percent of Greek plant-based food products met EU pesticide residue standards. Authorities analyzed 311 samples as part of the official pesticide residue monitoring program. The vast majority of tested products thus complied with European safety requirements.
