Greek Marbles Adorned Churches of Ancient Hippos
A new study shows that marbles from Greece traveled hundreds of kilometers to adorn the churches of ancient Hippos near the Sea of Galilee. The study, published in the Journal of Archaeological Science: Reports, was able to trace the origin of the building materials of the sacred structures.
