Greek shipping companies earn billions transporting Russian oil
According to a Financial Times analysis, Greek shipping companies have earned at least $3.8 billion in the past three years from transporting Russian oil. The trade is permitted under Western sanctions as long as transports comply with certain rules. This undermines efforts by the G7 to reduce the Kremlin's energy revenues.
