Groundbreaking: GPS Marking of Vulture Chick in Cyprus
For the first time in Cyprus, a vulture chick was marked with an identification ring and GPS transmitter while still in the nest. The chick is the first offspring of vultures Molly and Ramon, imported from Spain, and is part of efforts to strengthen the vulture population on the island.
