GSI Project Moving Closer to Implementation – French Company Invests
President Nikos Christodoulides announced that the Great Sea Interconnector (GSI) project between Cyprus and Greece is closer to implementation than ever before. With the involvement of French investment company Meridiam and an agreement with Greece, substantial progress has been achieved for the first time since 2012. The President emphasized the crucial importance of this French investment for the historic energy connection project.
