Gulf states condemn Iranian blockade of Strait of Hormuz
The leading nations of the Persian Gulf have sharply criticized what they call illegal actions by Iran, which is blockading the strategically important Strait of Hormuz and threatening international shipping. The condemnation came at a Gulf Cooperation Council meeting in Saudi Arabia with warnings against disruptions to the trade route or arbitrary fees.
