Guterres Presents Plans for Cyprus Solutions and Five-Plus-One Talks
UN Secretary-General António Guterres met trilaterally with President Christodoulides and Turkish Cypriot leader Tufan Erhürman in the UN buffer zone near Nicosia. Following the meeting, Guterres announced that he will continue his mediation efforts and convene an expanded meeting on confidence-building measures, methodology, and substance of talks as soon as appropriate progress is achieved.
