Hantavirus alert: surveillance following outbreak on cruise ship
Persons in at least three U.S. states are under medical observation following a hantavirus outbreak on the Dutch cruise ship MV Hondius. So far, none of the persons under surveillance show symptoms of illness. The outbreak on the luxury ship has led to increased vigilance among health authorities.
