Health insurance fund plans stricter penalties for abuse in Cypriot health system
The Cypriot health insurance provider (ÖAÜ) is working on draft legislation to strengthen penalties against service providers and insured persons who abuse the General Health System. Combating such abuse is one of the top priorities of the health insurance fund, which aims to strengthen the existing sanctions system.
