Health Insurance Imposes Fines Against Doctors for GHS Violations
The Cypriot Health Insurance Organization (HIO) imposed fines totaling 11,500 euros against three doctors for violations of GHS regulations and non-medically justified prescriptions. The cases involved an endocrinologist and a nephrologist, who were accused of over-prescribing hormones.
