Heating oil 75% more expensive: tax relief provides only €22 savings
Heating oil prices in Cyprus have risen by approximately 75 percent compared to the previous year, amounting to about 250 euros per 350-liter fill-up. Households dependent on heating oil must choose between significantly higher costs or reduced heating use. A tax reduction saves only about 22 euros.
