Heating oil tax reduction: Cyprus negotiates with EU over further cut
Cypriot Finance Minister Makis Keravnos is working on a further reduction of the consumption tax on heating oil below the current 2.1 cents per liter. He has already initiated negotiations with Brussels and is seeking an exemption to push European limits. Several measures to stabilize heating oil prices have already been announced.
