Heavy rainfall in Nicosia led to 35 emergency calls to the fire department, which deployed six flood response teams to the affected city districts of Engomi, Makedonitissa, Strovolos, Lakatamia, and Agios Dometios. Firefighters pumped water from flooded cellars, opened storm drains, and towed vehicles.
