Heavy rainfall eases dust crisis in Cyprus
After days of dust pollution from African dust particles, Cyprus experienced intense rainfall, thunderstorms and hail on Saturday that significantly improved air quality. The occupational safety authority subsequently lifted the ban on outdoor work that had been imposed due to elevated PM10 levels. Weather forecasts indicate that air quality will fully normalize by evening.
