Hezbollah rocket hits Byzantine church in Israel
A Hezbollah rocket struck the protective structure over the remains of a 1,500-year-old Byzantine church in the Israeli city of Nahariya on Friday night. The Israeli Antiquities Authority confirmed that the ancient mosaic floor inside was not damaged by the impact. The protective structure, erected in 2022, successfully absorbed the strike.
