High-profile jewelry theft at Vienna Museum of Applied Arts
A valuable diamond necklace belonging to Egyptian Queen Nazli with 673 diamonds was stolen from the Museum of Applied Arts (MAK) in Vienna. Austrian police announced the theft on Thursday and released photos of the piece of jewelry, which was made by French luxury house Van Cleef & Arpels. The perpetrators broke into the display case and escaped with the valuable piece.
