High-Risk Derby APOËL-AEL: Security Incidents and Arrests
Several security incidents occurred during the high-risk derby between APOËL and AEL at the GSP Stadium. A fan was arrested before the match in possession of a flare. After the match ended, minor riots broke out, during which a police officer was injured on the arm and taken to hospital. Multiple arrests were made after stones and other objects were thrown.
