Higher Fuel Prices Expected in 2028 Due to EU Biofuel Harmonization
Cyprus will adapt to EU directives on increased biofuel use, which is expected to lead to further fuel price increases in 2028. Parliament was informed that corresponding legislation will be submitted to the EU within the next two months. The EU Commission will then require an additional four months for processing.
