Historic Corner Pub in Nicosia Completely Destroyed
A fire broke out in a building next to the Presidential Palace in Nicosia that housed the legendary Corner Pub of the capital until a few years ago. According to fire service spokesperson Andreas Kettis, the historic building burned completely, with the roof completely collapsing. Fire services responded with a large deployment to the emergency in the immediate vicinity of the Presidential Palace.
