Historical Study: Female Criminality Under British Rule in Cyprus
Author and legal expert Stefanos Evangelidis from Nicosia has published two books examining female criminality during the British colonial period in Cyprus. The works "Styliani X" and "Medeas and Clytemnestras" demonstrate that women, despite their restricted rights, deliberately violated existing structures. The study illustrates the paradox between social oppression and individual female agency.
