Hourly workers abandon labor action after meeting with president
The unions of hourly government employees will not implement planned measures after President Nikos Christodoulides met with them on Wednesday. At the meeting, which was also attended by the finance minister, there was a "positive response" to all submitted demands, according to government spokesman Konstantinos Letympiotes. The unions expressed satisfaction with the measures agreed upon.
