Household debt in Cyprus reaches 20.1 billion euros
The total debt of Cypriot households was approximately 20.1 billion euros at the end of March 2026, corresponding to 55% of GDP. The debt indicator recorded a slight increase compared to the previous quarter, but has increased significantly since December 2016.
