Hybrid vehicles exceed 50% market share in new vehicle registrations in Cyprus
Vehicle registrations in Cyprus increased by 13.2 percent in the first half of 2026. Hybrid vehicles dominate the market with a market share of 51.7 percent in new registrations. A total of 29,367 vehicles were registered between January and June 2026, compared to 25,954 in the same period in 2025. This marks a significant turning point toward the electrification of the vehicle fleet.
